About the Job

A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an experienced Senior Accountant to become part of the Kildare-based advisory team. This role offers meaningful client interaction, a variety of work, and the chance to make a real impact in a growing division. The ideal candidate will be a qualified professional with strong commercial acumen and a genuine interest in supporting business owners across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing a portfolio of SME clients
  • Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts and tax returns
  • Offering proactive and strategic financial advice
  • Cultivating strong client relationships and acting as a trusted consultant
  • Guiding junior team members and encouraging their growth
  • Maintaining quality and timeliness in all deliverables
  • Collaborating with internal experts to enhance client value

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA) with a minimum of 3 years in a practice setting
  • In-depth understanding of Irish accounting and tax compliance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks
  • Forward-thinking, client-focused approach
