About the company

The successful candidate will play a key part in the effective and efficient day-to-day management of the finance function, supporting the Finance Manager and assisting with the training and development of junior finance staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly and annual accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Mentoring junior finance staff
• Implementing process improvements across the finance function
• Variance analysis
• KPI reporting
• Statutory returns
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE with experience in a similar role
• Excellent IT skills (including Advanced MS Excel)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
