About the company

A market-leading business in the Belfast City Centre area is seeking to appoint a Financial Accountant to their well-established and experienced finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Financial Controller and the wider finance team, gaining exposure to all areas of this highly dynamic business. Ideal role for any newly/recently qualified accountants,  who are seeking to take their career to the next level. Extensive training/development and career progression potential on offer!

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.

• Balance sheet reconciliations.

• Month-end Intercompany reconciliations.

• Mentoring junior finance staff

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.

• Helping to drive process improvement

• Support the financial controller and finance director

• Other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) from practice or industry background

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong IT skills.

•Time management
