About the Job
- Analyse and prepare Group Financial Statements within specified deadlines.
- Forecast financial performance for the group and its subsidiary companies.
- Draft trading updates and commentary documents.
- Provide guidance to accounting teams on technical accounting matters.
- Coordinate and lead teams to meet internal and external reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with Group standards.
- Supervise the annual audit process with external auditors for timely completion.
- Ensure effectiveness and application of financial controls.
- Exercise leadership within the accounting teams.
- Identify Finance function projects for ongoing improvement, utilizing technology and financial systems to streamline processes and enhance customer service, while maintaining robust controls.
- Manage and guide teams to facilitate ongoing training and development for staff.
Your skills & experience
- Qualified Accountant, ACA ACCA etc
- Experience in the Construction Industry
