We are actively seeking a skilled and qualified Accountant to join their dynamic finance team and contribute to the success of their financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support, covering tasks such as accounts payable, payroll, and managing invoicing/settlement.
  • Prepare statutory and tax compliance documents, including VAT, payroll, and entity-level taxes.
  • Coordinate and assist in local audits, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of audited financial statements.
  • Compile the financial reports, including submissions to the local management board.
  • Assist the Services function by providing financial and operational information.
  • Ensure precise and punctual recording of accounting transactions in both management and statutory ledgers.
  • Engage in planning and budgeting activities using the Firm’s tools, techniques, and meeting due dates.
  • Oversee banking and cash flow management responsibilities.
  • Manage the timely and accurate billing of the Center’s services.
  • Uphold effective internal controls, including Balance Sheet reconciliations, and ensure compliance with the Firm’s policies, procedures, and best practices.

Essential Criteria

  • Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience.
  • Proven ability to influence, interact, and consult with senior leaders on finance processes, guidelines, and compliance matters.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operational efficiency and financial accounting.
  • Strong project management skills and a systemic thinking approach.
  • Proven ability to assess risks and make decisive, appropriate decisions, particularly in response to exceptional requests.
  • Capacity to network and collaborate with teams both regionally and globally, recognizing their cultural, social, and academic diversity.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office, especially Excel, and other productivity tools.
