About the Job
• Issue timely Company reports including weekly/monthly variance reports, productivity, and financial data.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and consolidated reports, conducting detailed variance analysis and providing commentary on Actual Vs Budget.
• Identify process improvements and efficiencies, developing analytical tools and techniques to control costs and enhance financial reporting.
• Review costings and analyse cost centers to optimise processes for cost-effectiveness.
• Provide planning and cost control support for projects.
• Manage Inventory Accounting ensuring accurate valuations and addressing control/system issues.
• Handle Fixed asset accounting, maintaining control over Capital Expenditure items.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting, including overhead spend analysis and future spend forecasting.
• Develop management dashboards and KPI reports as the business expands.
• Support R&D/Quality/Operations teams in managing staff timesheets and optimising R&D efforts.
• Prepare payroll and fulfill related requirements.
• Undertake ad-hoc process improvements and systems projects.
Your skills & experience
- Fully Qualified Accountant/ Newly Qualified
- Experience in practice or industry is suitable
- Experience with management accounts is preferred
