ABOUT THE ROLE
Under the guidance of the Associate Director, you will be responsible for a range of tasks related to financial control and regulatory reporting. This will include supporting the creation of monthly accounts, budgeting, regulatory reporting, and related documentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in Monthly Management Reporting and Financial Analysis.
- Prepare regulatory returns in line with the Investment Firm Prudential Regime.
- Handle daily capital adequacy and liquidity reporting.
- Manage monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in year-end financial statements preparation.
- Support HMRC compliance and tax projects.
- Aid in audit preparation and response.
- Manage income reconciliations and aged debt reconciliation.
- Enhance internal controls and financial systems.
- Support business teams in finance system automation.
- Engage in ad-hoc projects as directed.
- Ensure compliance with risk and compliance frameworks.
CRITERIA
- Newly Qualified Accountant
- Self-motivated and proactive individual with a positive mindset, capable of working independently and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in data analysis and advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Enthusiastic about developing a career within the Finance team.
