The Role
- Play a pivotal role in fortifying the company’s control environment, contributing to a robust and forward-looking planning process.
- Meticulously ensure the completeness of supporting documentation, backups, and reconciliations, facilitating a seamless year-end audit and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Execute precise review and posting of journal entries in strict adherence to Group reporting deadlines during the quarter-end close process.
- Lead efforts to enhance the quarterly balance sheet reconciliations across the Finance Team, promoting accuracy and reliability in financial reporting.
- Engage closely with external audit partners, leveraging your expertise to ensure a successful audit process.
- Collaborate with the finance team on diverse projects, offering your specialized skills and insights as needed.
- Demonstrate a proven track record in preparing reconciliations across multiple systems and a knack for reengineering and improving existing financial processes.
The Person
- Qualified accountant
- Advanced data analysis skills
- 3-5years’ experience in a similar role is desirable
- Reconciliation project experience is an advantage.
