Key Responsibilities of the Audit Manager:
- Manage a portfolio of audit and accounts engagements, ensuring timely completion and adherence to professional standards.
- Review statutory financial statements and corporation tax returns prepared by junior staff.
- Supervise junior staff, providing technical guidance and conducting periodic appraisals.
- Liaise with clients to ensure excellent service and identify additional client needs.
- Contribute to business proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
Your Experience
- ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 3 years PQE in an audit department or practice
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS, and ISAs
- Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills
