About the company
In this role you will work within an established and supportive team, liaising closely with the Financial Controller. A wide-ranging role that offers exposure to many areas of the finance function. This is an ideal role for a QBE accountant or a Qualified Accountant with 1 -3 years industry experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Year-end accounts
- Statutory returns
- Assist with budgeting/forecasting
- Ad-hoc reporting
- Driving process improvement across the finance function
- Preparing for audit
- Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or Part/Qualified/QBE with experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills (including Sage and MS Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
