The Company
HireIQ is proud to be working with one of the world’s leading Aircraft leasing companies, based in Dublin City Centre.
The Role
The VP Finance, reporting to the SVP of Finance in Dublin, plays a crucial role in assessing control effectiveness, managing audits, documenting processes, and leading improvement initiatives. Seeking a self-driven candidate with autonomy, this role offers a chance for ambitious individuals to contribute to the Finance team and broader business in a unique, multi-disciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective internal controls for financial reporting at process, entity, and IT levels.
- Drive and manage internal control testing processes.
- Manage interaction with external auditors for control reviews and testing.
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with shareholder representatives.
- Document processes, identify opportunities, and coordinate cross-company initiatives for efficiencies and improvements.
What will set you apart?
- A related Business or Accountancy Degree
- 5 years PQE
- IT controls experience would be desirable.
- Bonus if you know a thing or two about aviation, aircraft leasing, or asset management.
- Checked financial controls in big, complicated businesses
