As the VP Finance, you will be an integral part of the team, working closely with various departments within finance and aviation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the management of statutory compliance requirements for more than 250 global companies spanning multiple locations.
• Conduct thorough analysis and review of quarterly management accounts to ensure adherence to the required GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Carefully evaluate accounting standards and policies adopted by the company.
• Contribute to tax structuring efforts and provide accounting analysis for deal team input.
• Identify accounting matters or transactions that necessitate technical accounting review to ensure accurate accounting treatment.
• Take charge of the annual audit compliance and review process for the annual financial statements.
• Oversee the annual liquidation process.
• Drive operational efficiencies and process improvements within the finance function.
• Assist in the implementation of new software and systems.
• Provide support to the Accounts Payable and Tax teams.
• Offer assistance on banking and treasury matters.
• Supervise internal processes and checklists to ensure comprehensive coverage for acquisitions, disposals, new entity incorporations, etc.
• Support and mentor new members of the Finance team.
• Lead projects aimed at optimizing efficiency within the Finance team.

Qualifications:

• ACA / ACCA Qualified.
• Trained with a “Big 4” accounting practice.
• 2-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably in the aircraft leasing industry.
• Strong experience with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Familiarity with IFRS consolidation and US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
