Tax Manager (Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the tax affairs of our clients, specifically musicians, touring artists, and sports professionals.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on UK tax regulations, ensuring compliance and optimizing tax planning strategies.
• Handle complex tax issues related to withholding tax, cross-border income, royalties, and international tax treaties.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs, goals, and financial situations.
• Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize savings.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and communicate their impact to clients.
• Liaise with tax authorities and resolve any queries or disputes that may arise.

Requirements:

• Tax qualification (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA) is essential.
• Demonstrable experience in UK tax management, specifically working with musicians, touring artists, or sports professionals.
• Strong knowledge of withholding tax, cross-border income, royalties, and international tax treaties.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and convey complex tax concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure accurate and compliant tax filings.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Familiarity with tax software and tools.
