Tax Manager

Our client seeks an experienced and motivated Tax Manager to join a growing team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the tax function across multiple jurisdictions in Ireland and Europe. The ideal candidate will be analytical, strategic, and able to communicate effectively with various departments across the business. This position reports to the Finance Director and ensures compliance with tax legislation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee corporate income tax return compliance.
• Ensure timely completion and filing of all tax returns.
• Assist senior management with global mobility tax issues.
• Support senior management with internal and external tax inquiries/audits.
• Assist with the preparation of local and master transfer pricing documentation.
• Stay up to date with changes in local tax legislation.
• Conduct ad-hoc tax research as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Professional tax qualification (AITI/CTA or equivalent), with an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) preferred.
• PQE tax experience from a Big 4 or Top 10 public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation.
• Advanced knowledge of tax accounting, audit processes, and tax law.
• Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills.
• High motivation, with the ability to engage positively with colleagues, external advisors, and stakeholders.
• Self-directed, quick learner with the ability to handle time-sensitive tasks.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proven track record of dedication, hard work, and excellence in academic or professional settings.
