We’re working exclusively with a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy firm in Cork City known for its collaborative culture and long-standing client base across Ireland and the UK. The firm has a fantastic reputation for nurturing talent and offering real progression opportunities – and due to continued growth, they’re now seeking a Tax Consultant to join their team.

About the Role:

You’ll work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors, including construction, hospitality, retail, and technology. Your focus will be on personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory, alongside direct involvement in interesting consultancy work and tax planning assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review income tax, corporation tax, CGT and CAT returns
• Provide advisory support on tax planning, restructuring, and succession planning
• Liaise directly with clients and Revenue
• Assist with tax audits and investigations
• Work alongside senior team members on complex tax projects

What You’ll Need:

• Part-qualified or fully qualified CTA, ACA or ACCA
• 2+ years’ experience in a tax-focused role within practice
• Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax legislation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset
