Staff Accountant

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties:

• Reconciling invoices within the Accounts Payable department.
• Overseeing unapproved AP, unbilled AP, & AP Aging’s.
• Providing support to the Credit Department by analysing A/R.
• Processing customer payments and conducting daily credit card reconciliations.
• Generating various reports, such as the daily Flash Report, Sales Reporting, and Inventory Valuation reports.
• Assisting with year-end audits, 1099 reporting, and reconciliations.
• Conducting ad-hoc analyses as necessary.
• Collaborating with the Controller on month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Contributing to budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Preparing Monthly and Quarterly Financial Reports for management review.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, other financial analysis functions).
• Familiarity with an ERP System (Eclipse preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Organizational proficiency.
