About the company

This is an ideal opportunity for a Qualified Accountant with previous experience in an industry setting, with an excellent salary/benefits package available. The role is varied and offers exposure to all areas of this dynamic business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Own ledger accounting across multiple business units, including journals, reconciliations and core month-end activities
• Review and approve journals and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring strong controls and segregation of duties
• Lead and develop a team of junior finance staff
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policy and statutory requirements, supporting audit and tax processes
• Oversee payroll activities and support processing when required
• Partner with the wider business to deliver accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting and value-adding financial insight

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong IT skills
• Excellent communicator
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
