The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for various financial aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department heads to create and maintain the annual budget.
  • Monitor budget performance, detect variances, and offer recommendations for cost management and optimization.
  • Produce precise and timely financial statements, encompassing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Craft and evaluate monthly and quarterly management reports to gauge the company’s financial health.
  • Conduct in-depth variance analysis to pinpoint disparities between actual and budgeted figures.
  • Elaborate on variance reasons and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Scrutinize costs and their driving factors to support cost-cutting initiatives.
  • Contribute to pricing strategies by assessing the profitability of products and services.
  • Create financial forecasts grounded in historical data and market trends.
  • Continuously monitor and update forecasts to maintain their precision.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
  • Aid in preparing financial statements for audits.
  • Continuously identify and enact process enhancements to boost efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • A professional accounting designation e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and management accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
