Credit Control Team Lead Position in Co Armagh – HYRBID WORKING/ GREAT BENEFITS

“We are working on behalf of our client who is recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller looking for the next step in their career to join a thriving Credit Control Team as a Team Leader. Reporting to the Credit Control Manager you will be responsible for assisting with the day to day duties of running and directing a busy credit control team”.

About the Job

The Credit Control Team Lead will be responsible for and assisting with the following duties…

Managing a team of credit controllers
Managing the cash collections process
Producing credit reports for Credit Control Manager
Point of escalation for customer/team queries
Providing training and advice as and when required
Conducting one-to-ones/ Debt review meetings
Working closely with other departments especially Sales and Customer service
Compile and maintain the Bad Debt Provision
Authorising credit notes prior to billing
Posting of BACs, cheque & card payments to the system
Setting and reviewing credit limits for new/existing customer accounts
Review of E-Commerce payments and dealing with Queries.

Experience, Skills and Attributes

3 years + experience within a Credit Control department
Previous experience in a credit control or senior credit control position
Experience of dealing with a large customer base
The ability to work in a team as well as individually
Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
Good attention to detail
The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Previous working knowledge of SAP (Desirable)
