About the potential next-step

Role purpose:

• Integrate acquisitions into the companies ways of working, eliminating risks and aligning processes.

• Support the AR team in all aspects of acquisitions onboarding, reporting and integration.

• Support the credit control team in a period of significant change and growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Integration of acquisitions

• Credit control and risk management of acquisitions.

• Building relationships with the relevant members of acquisition AR teams and take an active role in the growth and development of the team.

• Advise management on risks and issues within acquisition entities and mitigate risks as necessary, monthly/quarterly reports required.

• Host weekly/monthly debtor meetings with senior members of acquisition AR teams identifying any high-risk accounts along with actions required to minimise risk.

• Liaise with our credit insurance partner ensuring all acquisitions are covered under the insurance policy.

• Provide ongoing support and training where necessary to relevant members of acquisition AR teams.

• Recommend changes where necessary to credit policy, credit approval process etc.to senior management.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• At least 5 years’ experience working within a credit control environment at senior credit controller level.

• Experience of working in a large-scale organisation, with a track-record of delivering high quality results to tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and influencing skills.

• Expected to travel to Acquisition locations on a regular basis.

• Flexible and adaptable to a continuous improvement working environment.

• Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities

• A self-motivated approach to work – can do attitude, well organised to effectively prioritise and deliver high quality results

• Excellent analytical skills and advanced excel skills with strong attention to detail
