Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Position: Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in the construction sector

Compensation: Competitive Salary 

Hours: Full-time (40 Hours)

Responsibilities:

• Processing a high volume of supplier invoices across all business entities
• Management of the Purchase Ledger
• Establishment of supplier accounts
• Resolution of supplier inquiries
• Investigation and resolution of invoice discrepancies
• Assisting in the processing of payment runs
• Execution of EFT payments
• Handling Sub Contractors RCT (Relevant Contracts Tax)
• Reconciliation of supplier accounts
• Reviewing month-end Purchase Ledger reports and addressing related inquiries
• Handling invoice recharges
• Conducting monthly AP closure
• Supporting accruals and prepayments
• Addressing auditor queries
• Assisting in projects and process enhancements
• Fulfilling other ad-hoc responsibilities as necessary

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the construction sector
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong teamwork abilities
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent numerical and computer skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational aptitude
• Experience with Coins software is a must
