HIREIQ are delighted to be once again working with a giant in the tech field to appoint a Senior Accounting Manager to their expert finance team. This role plays a key role in the local & global finance operations. Their office is based in Belfast however the company offer an office / WFH hybrid as standard.
About the job.
Duties for this Senior Finance role include but not limited to:
Main POC for all aspects of corporate accounting; preparation of consolidated financial statements, co-ordinating month-end close activities, ensure that core accounting functions are operating at a high level
Manage local and statutory compliance of all international entities for the company
Ensure accounting standards and best practice principles are applied to the accounts production process with falls under US GAAP regulations
Drive and implement process improvements across the wider finance function
Attend meetings as and when required to present accounts and other operating matters to stakeholders
Liaise with auditors in order to ensure the timely completion of audit
Full responsibility to motivate, train and develop staff – team made up of both qualified and non-qualified staff
Other ad-hoc finance duties as and when required
Your skills and experience
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CAI) 6+ Years PQE.
Managerial experience
Large corporation experience desirable
GAAP Exposure within current or previous role
Strong team working & communication skills
Strong IT skills
