This role presents an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to join a local business and play an important role in the accounts department.
About the job:
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a diverse portfolio of clients
- Complete a range of accounting, and ad-hoc tasks
- Lead and participate in client meetings as necessary
- Provide mentorship to staff and trainees as appropriate
- Contribute to develop strong client relationships
- Oversee staff work planning, training, and development
- Collaborate with various in-house departments as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified with ACCA or ACA with a background in accountancy practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with cloud-based accountancy software, such as Xero or QuickBooks
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Excel and Word
