About the client:
HireIQ is excited to work with a highly respected County Down accountancy practice as they seek to add an ambitious Senior Qualified Accountant to their growing team. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to join a local business and play an important role in the accounts department.
About the job:
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a diverse portfolio of clients
- Complete a range of accounting and ad-hoc tasks
- Lead and participate in client meetings as necessary
- Provide mentorship to staff and trainees as appropriate
- Contribute to developing strong client relationships
- Oversee staff work planning, training, and development
- Collaborate with various in-house departments as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified with ACCA or ACA with a background in accountancy practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with cloud-based accountancy software, such as Xero or QuickBooks
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Excel and Word
