Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, general ledger management, and tax compliance. This role requires expertise in NetSuite and experience handling multi-entity accounting functions. The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy, implementing internal controls, and supporting overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Perform period-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with multi-state tax reporting requirements, including sales, use, property, income, and payroll taxes.
• Implement and document internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support audits and financial reviews.
• Identify and drive process improvements for increased efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in the hospitality sector.
• NetSuite expertise is required.
• Experience with Coupa or similar AP/expense management software preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a team-oriented mindset.
