About the Job
- Conduct accounting research and analyse new transactions, business initiatives, and accounting standards, ensuring proper documentation of accounting treatment.
- Support accounting and reporting in technical areas like goodwill, derivatives, pensions, and acquisitions/divestitures.
- Coordinate annual audits and quarterly reviews by external auditors for SEC and statutory filings.
- Maintain, document, and enhance UK GAAP-compliant accounting policies and procedures globally and at divisional levels.
- Manage and monitor global statutory financial statement filings under various accounting standards.
- Review critical accounting policies across divisions, ensuring alignment, and provide necessary training.
- Present accounting and UK GAAP transition matters to various teams within the Group, Divisions, and operating companies.
- Assist with ad hoc requests and special projects, including acquisition due diligence and transitioning entities to UK GAAP.
Your skills & experience
- Qualified Accountant, ACA ACCA, CIMA etc 0- 3 years PQE
