A leader in the UK business services industry are seeking to add a SAGE consultant to an established team. This is a predominantly remote role but the successful candidate will need to be based in Northern Ireland.

About the Job

Specifically focused on the application consultancy required to deliver finance, manufacturing, construction and distribution solutions to clients and third parties.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan projects in terms of configuration, implementation and training on SAGE, SICON and other financial systems for clients
• Clear definition of the ‘key deliverables’ from a customer perspective
• Attending the kick-off with the customer, walking the customer through the solution as understood
• Work with Resource Lead to ensure diaries are planned
• Initial setup and configure essential system to ensure that ‘key deliverables’ can be met
• Update the project manager on progress, gaps and commercial options
• Configure the operational modules (commercials, distribution, manufacturing etc.)
• Set up security, roles and access
• Build data load mapping, agreed stationery, reporting, integration
• Carry out sample data load for training and testing
• Deliver standard training
• Provide go-live cover if agreed and support the post go-live review process
• Support the formal support handover

Previous experience

• Sage 200 Financial and Commercial modules experience
• Ideally a proven track record of multiple Sage 200 implementations (full life-cycle)
• Excellent communication skills
