About the Job

HireIQ Senior Finance are currently working with a household name that operate across the UK & Ireland. Our client have forged a market-leading position over the past number of years and are hoping to add a qualified accountant to their finance team. This role reports into one of the Senior Accountants and will play a key role within the finance team.

Job Duties 

• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts including variance analysis and P&L
• Balance sheet reconciliations & review of financial controls
• Consolidation of group accounts
• Preparation of annual budgets & cashflow forecasting
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts in accordance with company deadlines.
• Month end journals and detailed analysis of the product group margins
• Preparation and submission of periodic VAT returns in Ireland & UK.
• VAT & Tax returns
• Helping out with audit preparation
• Other ad-hoc general finance duties

Your skills and experience

• Recently Qualified Accountant (ACA/ CIMA / ACCA)
• Strong training background
• Strong IT skills (SAP Desirable)
• Good communication skills
