About the job:
- Preparation of financial statements for clients, including statutory accounts
- Carry out audits for clients in various sectors including charities
- Preparing VAT returns and tax computations
- Assisting clients with general accounting queries and providing advice on accounting procedures
- Liaising with clients and building strong relationships with them
- Ad hoc tasks as required
Your skills & experience:
- Qualified Accountant with relevant experience in audit
- Strong accounting knowledge including experience in accounts preparation and tax computations
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Proficient in using accounting software packages
