This role presents an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to join a local business and play an important role in the accounts department working with a diverse portfolio of clients working closely with partners.
About the job:
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce detailed management reports with actionable insights.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Offer strategic financial advice to clients and senior management.
- Guide, support, and mentor junior accounting team members.
- Oversee tax planning ensuring compliance
- Assist in developing client budgets and forecasting strategies.
- Ad-hoc duties as and when required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified with ACCA or ACA with a background in accountancy practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with cloud-based accountancy software, such as Xero or QuickBooks
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Excel and Word
