What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years’ experience in a payroll role, preferably within a practice or bureau environment
• Experience processing high-volume, multi-client payrolls
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC regulations, and statutory deductions
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients
• Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements and deadlines (HMRC submissions, RTI, pensions auto-enrolment, etc.)
• Handle client queries professionally and efficiently
• Process statutory payments, including SSP, SMP, SPP, and handle year-end procedures (P60S, P11Ds)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records in line with GDPR
