The Role

As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time across various locations. This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and an understanding of payroll processes. You will collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to maintain compliance with payroll regulations and ensure a seamless payroll function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll efficiently for employees, ensuring accuracy in salary payments, bonuses, deductions, and overtime.
  • Review payroll data, identify discrepancies, and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain up-to-date payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and compensation changes.
  • Generate payroll reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling payroll data and employee information.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in a payroll-related role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, including tax regulations and deductions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (experience with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables is advantageous).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
