A large company with a local influence, this business has seen continued success throughout covid. There is a well-established finance department and structure in place to support the new candidate in their new position.

About the job

Reporting to the Company Accountant you will be responsible for and assisting with the following duties…

  • Reviewing and processing monthly and weekly time sheets
  • Preparing BACs reports
  • Reconciling PAYE & NI (UK) and PAYE & PRSI (ROI), and making payments to HMRC and Revenue
  • Processing month end reconciliations and year end procedure
  • Liaising with external agencies such as HMRC, Revenue, pension providers etc.,
  • Complete all weekly and monthly payroll reporting requirements
  • Resolving HMRC and Revenue queries around RTI submission and pay for all employees
  • Keeping up-to-date with proposed legislation and regulations
  • Continually reviewing processes and working practices to ensure the company maintains an up to date, effective payroll service whilst protecting payroll integrity and security

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Previous Payroll experience managing the entire payroll function or significant HR experience with an eagerness to learn
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to influence, communicate, challenge and motivate at all levels, maintaining effective relationships across the business
