About the job
Reporting to the Company Accountant you will be responsible for and assisting with the following duties…
- Reviewing and processing monthly and weekly time sheets
- Preparing BACs reports
- Reconciling PAYE & NI (UK) and PAYE & PRSI (ROI), and making payments to HMRC and Revenue
- Processing month end reconciliations and year end procedure
- Liaising with external agencies such as HMRC, Revenue, pension providers etc.,
- Complete all weekly and monthly payroll reporting requirements
- Resolving HMRC and Revenue queries around RTI submission and pay for all employees
- Keeping up-to-date with proposed legislation and regulations
- Continually reviewing processes and working practices to ensure the company maintains an up to date, effective payroll service whilst protecting payroll integrity and security
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Previous Payroll experience managing the entire payroll function or significant HR experience with an eagerness to learn
- IT literate (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to influence, communicate, challenge and motivate at all levels, maintaining effective relationships across the business
