What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a payroll function within a medium to large business
• Strong understanding of payroll, compliance, and pension responsibilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll/time & attendance systems
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Professional and confidential approach
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to change

Key Responsibilities:

• Process weekly and monthly payroll for multiple group companies
• Liaise with third-party payroll, pension, and benefit providers
• Manage payroll queries and ensure timely resolution
• Handle statutory payments, including SSP, SMP, and SPP
• Administer Time & Attendance systems and maintain accurate employee records
• Prepare payroll data for audits, reports, and internal finance teams
• Support with annual processes, including salary reviews and P11D submissions
• Maintain payroll documentation and update standard operating procedures
• Contribute to payroll-related projects and legislative compliance updates
