Part Qualified Accountant

“An great opportunity has developed with a global giant looking for a Part Qualified Accountant to join their established finance department. This role will allow for further development and career progression for the right candidate.”

Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller this candidate will be responsible for and assisting with completing the following duties…

• Assisting with monthly management accounts for a number of group companies;
• Reconciling all bank accounts on a monthly basis and producing any required reports
• Assisting with the production of the Group quarterly VAT return
• Assisting with bi-monthly payment run. This includes preparing a list of due payments and liaising closely with suppliers to address queries
• Ensuring that the company meets its obligations in relation to the payment of HMRC and other third-party deductions
• Preparing monthly payroll and sharing with the payroll bureau to be processed
• Assisting Regional Financial Controller with Cashflow forecasting and reporting
• Assisting with completion of group reporting pack

Your skills & experience

• Part qualified accountant
• Experience of working in a busy finance department working across all areas of the accounts function.
• Have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Evidence of analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.

Desirable

• Preference for ACA or CIMA qualification with 1st time passes
