About the Job

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be part of a busy finance team. This role is ideal for a Part-Qualified/Assistant Accountant to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of finance functions in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and maintain the general ledger, ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled at month-end.
• Complete monthly stock work and prepare/post journals including accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare and review month-end overheads and monthly sales reports for each market segment.
• Prepare VAT returns for both the UK and Ireland.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for the year-end audit.
• Provide support in payroll functions, including monthly payroll.
• Complete statistical returns as required.
• Oversee and support the Finance & Accounts team across various functions, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Perform any other duties as reasonably delegated.

Your Skills and Background

• Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or IATI or equivalent)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
• Advanced Excel skills to support analysis and reporting
