About the Job

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly accounts
  • Process VAT and other statutory returns
  • Quarter and month-end journal processing
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Maintenance of internal reconciliation spreadsheets.
  • Preparation of pre-payments
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis
  • Support of audit process

Previous experience

  • Degree or alternative experience in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Part Qualified Accountant/ Accounts Technician or QBE
  • Strong numerical skills with good attention to detail; can provide accurate work
  • A willingness to resolve issues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
  • A proven ability of strong team skills, including taking direction from others, is crucial
