About the job
Reporting to the financial controller, This role is ideal for a Part Qualified/ Assistant Accountant to gain fantastic experience and exposure to a busy finance environment. Full training will be provided to the right candidate along with study support provided and further progression plans set in place for the successful candidate.
You will be responsible for and assisting with and completing the following duties…
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Support the preparation of monthly Accruals/Prepayments, Journals and Balance sheet reconciliations
- Support daily accounting transactions
- Support the year-end process as required
- Reporting on specific accounting-related KPIs, metrics and SLA adherence
- Drive continuous improvements for the month-end close cycle
Your skills and background
- Part Qualified studying towards ACCA or CIMA Accreditation
- Experience working in a busy finance department
- Experience in Microsoft Applications
