About the job
A newly created Newly Qualified Accountant role to provide assistance to the Group Financial Controller in the running of the Finance Department for 4 companies.
Duties will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of monthly management cost reports
- Preparation and posting of nominal journals
- Month end and year end purchase/nominal ledger close
- Review of bank reconciliations
- Nominal ledger reconciliations
- VAT returns & other HMRC submissions
- Assistance with year-end financial statements audit
- Develop a working knowledge of software packages in use
Your skills and experience
- Recently Qualified accountant (ACA, CAI, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong problem solving skills and analytical skills
- Experience of building financial models
- Strong IT Skills (MS Excel)
