You will play a crucial role in supporting their clients’ financial operations. Working with various industry and commercial accounts, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial services. Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain and update financial records, including bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries.
  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist clients in developing budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights to aid in strategic decision-making.
  4. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, ensuring adherence to local and national tax regulations.
  5. Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  6. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique financial needs, and providing personalised solutions.
  7. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency for both clients and the firm.
  8. Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated with the latest accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations, ensuring full compliance in all financial activities.
  9. Financial Advisory: Provide expert financial advice and guidance to clients, assisting them in making informed business decisions.
  10. Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated financial services and support company-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

  1. Qualified or nearly Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  2. Experience: Varying levels of experience are welcome – from entry-level graduates to seasoned professionals with significant accounting expertise.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong Excel skills for data analysis are preferred.
  4. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with different industries and business models, enabling you to adapt financial strategies to specific client needs.
  5. Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and provide valuable insights to clients.
