About the company
Reporting to the senior management, this is a well-rounded role, offering a market-leading salary and great benefits package as well as great career progression.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Assist in the preparation of VAT, corporation tax, and other statutory returns
- Support the finance team with projects as required
- Assisting with annual external audit
- Ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Qualified OR nearly Qualified Accountant – (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
- Must be IT proficient and competent in the use of Excel Spreadsheets
- Able to demonstrate knowledge & understanding of financial systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
