About the company
A market-leading business based in the Strabane area is seeking to add a Qualified Accountant to their finance team. This role will involve reporting directly to the Head of Finance, and offers great exposure as well as opportunities for training and development. A market leading salary and benefits package are available. This role would be suitable for a newly/recently qualified accountant as well as those with 2/3 years PQE who are seeking a new challenge.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Overseeing the AP/AR function
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Cashflow management
- Implementation and monitoring of financial controls
- Preparation of ad-hoc financial reports
- Assist the Head of Finance with the day-to-day running of the finance function
- Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
