About the company
A market-leading business in Cookstown is seeking to add an ambitious and highly motivated accountant to their growing finance team, working closely with the Finance Director. This role offers unmatched commercial exposure, helping to drive continuous improvement across the wider business, and liaising with various key stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts
- Driving process improvement
- Business partnering with non-finance staff
- Variance analysis
- Preparation of ad-hoc financial reports
- Assist the Finance Director with ad-hoc duties
- Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or Part-Qualified/QBE with experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills (including Advanced MS Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
