About the company
A thriving manufacturing firm in the Maghera area is seeking to appoint a Management Accountant to their growing finance team. This is a newly created position, working closely with the Finance Director, offering extensive training and development. As a key member of the finance team, the role will be highly varied and will involve working closely with all departments of this market-leading business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation and submission of statutory returns
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaising with key departments across the wider business
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Variance analysis
- Ad-hoc reporting
- Driving process improvement across the finance function
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
- Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or Part-Qualified/QBE with experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills (including Advanced MS Excel)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
