About the potential next-step
The Role
We are seeking a Management Accountant to oversee daily accounting functions, gather and analyse financial information, and be a vital finance team member. Key tasks include:
- Managing weekly payroll and timesheets
- Monthly PAYE-PRSI and Pension reconciliation and submission
- Coordinating with Commercial & Procurement teams on project materials
- Inventory management and periodic stock takes
- Maintaining Fixed Asset register
- Bi-monthly VAT ROS submission
- Liaising with Head Office for intercompany charges
- Month-end close coordination and analysis
- Ensuring journal accuracy and maintaining schedules
- Identifying key issues with the financial controller
- Providing backup for finance team members
- Supporting year-end external audit requests
The Person
- Minimum 1-year PQE
- Must be a qualified accountant – ACA, CIMA, ACCA
- Strong communication skills
- happy to work with other non-finance departments in the business.
