About the Company?

This role will be to assist the Head of Finance in the financial management of the company by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with projects and providing financial analysis and support to the commercial and operations teams.

Your responsibilities: 

  • Support ERP implementation through the performance of reconciliations and data migration
  • Support the Operations Finance team for month-end close, including analysis of actual vs budget and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Build detailed Reports/ Excel spreadsheets to process information efficiently
  • Support the Head of Finance to challenge and implement improvement in business processes
  • Perform in-depth analysis of company spend in material, labour & overhead costs, identifying areas for potential productivity and efficiency improvements
  • Provide detailed sales analysis showing trends and highlighting opportunities
  • Capex spend and payback analysis
  • Assistance with external audits
  • Assistance with managing and coaching the finance department
  • Any other task deemed necessary to ensure the smooth running of the finance department on a timely basis

Your Experience: 

  • Qualified(ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified By Experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create and use financial models
  • Experience with large accounting software, such as SAGE or SAP
  • Minimum of 3 years accountancy experience
  • System implementation experience
