Management Accountant

The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing strategic financial guidance to the organization, supporting decision-making processes, and ensuring effective financial management. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing financial insights and support to department heads.
• Work closely with operational teams to understand business processes and contribute to improved financial performance.
• Act as a trusted advisor, translating financial data into actionable business recommendations.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to set realistic financial targets.
• Support the forecasting process to provide accurate and timely financial projections.
• Identify opportunities for cost control and process improvement.
• Collaborate with operational teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Qualified Accountant e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or Finance Business Partner.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
