About the Job
Working within an established team the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, submitting and analysing monthly management accounts including provision of business intelligence reports to the management team and Group. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30 am – 5 pm and an early finish on a Friday with flexibility on start/finish times.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts to a strict deadline
- Monitor and report on major KPIs of the business in line with agreed group processes and timetables
- Provide monthly reporting of financial results into the company group financial consolidation tool Hyperion Financial Management in line with agreed timetables
- Assist the Finance Director in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and budgets
- Assist the Finance Director in managing and supporting other members of the finance team
Previous experience
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years accounting experience, preferably in the construction sector
- Experience in VAT compliance and reporting in the UK and ROI
- Experience in managing reporting requirements through TSS
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft AX/Navision is desirable
