The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the business, responsible for a wide range of financial tasks to ensure the financial health and strategic direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise and manage the day-to-day financial operations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Lead the preparation of monthly and yearly management accounts, including statutory accounts compliant with IFRS.
• Develop and present comprehensive budgeting and cash flow forecasts.
• Perform P&L and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Manage the annual statutory accounts and coordinate with external auditors for audit file preparation.
• Monitor accounts payables and receivables, ensuring optimal financial health.
• Oversee company payroll processing.
• Conduct intercompany reconciliations for a clear financial picture.
• Proactively identify opportunities for business improvement and resolve financial issues through effective change management.
• Perform analytical reviews and highlight variances to budget, forecast, and previous periods while reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate closely with the Directors to guide financial strategy.

Requirements for the Role:

• Possess a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification financial accounting experience within a commercial organization.
• Strong background in financial reporting and a deep understanding of IFRS.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and IT skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, managing and meeting conflicting deadlines.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Highly organized, goal-oriented, and solution-focused.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
