Reporting to the Financial Controller, the main duties and responsibilities are;
- Month-end accounting/reporting
- Cashflow forecasting is short-term and part of the budget/forecast process
- Review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the Financial Controller with analysis of costs and recoveries
- Finance lead for stock reconciliations
- Completion of budgets and forecasts
- Working with operations and commercial teams on contract analysis/reporting
- VAT/tax return completion and submission
- Production of statutory accounts
- Ongoing review to ensure compliance with internal controls
- Prompt payment reporting
Role Requirements & Criteria;
- Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
- Management or cost accounting experience
- Technical accounting and accounting system skills
- Understanding of the Accounts Payable process
- Working as part of a finance team
- Working with non-finance individuals
- High Level of Excel skills
